Thrust 1 Institutionalize Dynamic Demand Planning for Skilling Programmes: India aims to align workforce skills with evolving industry demands by developing a real-time Labour Market Information System (LMIS) that integrates data from various sources, uses AI/ML for skill gap analysis, and aligns with national occupational and qualification frameworks We acknowledge the need for real-time information on skill gaps to enable data-driven, adaptive skilling programs tailored to sectoral and regional needs.
We recommend that the government consider partnerships with established private players with technical solutions leveraging new-age technologies to create a real-time LMIS portal that can be leveraged by institutions and decision-making bodies at both the local and state levels.

India’s National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship
(NPSDE) was designed to capture the demographic dividend and
upskill India’s youth, creating an ‘Athmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant
India) and in the process, also drive economic growth.

I don't want to participate in the quiz as they are not my original thinking but I want to draw the attention of authorities regarding two news which I have read in the Hindi daily news paper "Dainik Bhaskar" of 30/6/2025 during travelling by train from Pune to Prayagraj Cheoki today. They are as under :-
1. First, the program initiated by IIT Madras under which they develop Device Engineering Labs so that they can teach students of class 8th-12th regarding Science, Technology, Engineering Mathematics. For this, they have developed a three-year curriculum and they are implementing the above program in some schools of three States- T.N, Kerala & in W B. A Poneri student has assembled a drone which can be operated by a smartphone for which he has developed his own circuit. There are many benefits can be reaped. The most important benefit is that the govt. schools would attract the students.
2. The second is the building of bridges by tying the living roots in Meghalaya.
