National Youth Policy—Will it help India
2 August 2023
ISHITA KAUR MISHRA
NYP 2021’s implementation might prove to be its biggest challenge
Employment,implementation challenges,India,National Youth Policy,NYP 2021,Youth Development,youth population
Youth are vital for the progress and success of a nation. Most of the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) focus on the youth, identifying them as a critical national demographic and highlighting the need for investing in them. With 66 percent of its population (808 million) below the age of 35, India has the world’s largest youth population. Despite the estimated decline in the numbers, India will still remain a relatively ‘young’ country in 2030, with 24 percent of its population (365 million) in the 15-29 age group. At a time when several countries across Europe, the United States and even China are grappling with the twin problems of an ageing population

The complaint box of Indian government app and website should be launched that will directly report to the central government. For every problem there should be codes. Entering the codes will issue a long code format that will be stored in government database. Promote this app so that all people of India can lodge their complaint and issue of relevant shall be fixed within a fixed time period. Example the road conditions, the water scarcity, the food shortages etc. The misuse of this app should be subject to penalty and warrant. No political opinion should be used in the app.

For becoming a change maker and contribute towards nations's growth, the Kaizen Philosophy must be intriduced in higher school & university education.
kaizen mean 'change for better' and this can be implemented and promoted in every aspect of activity towards India Improvement.

Dear honorable members,
Post independence perhaps we inherited the British system of education. This is quite different from the American model. The college system has limited scope for multi disciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research as they offer very limited number of areas for study. In contrast a mega university campus will not only integrate the vast subject areas, their sub disciplines and scope for integrated research work but also can have multiple sports by building a sports complex within the campuses. This is far better than the college model. Music and liberal arts also are part of the ecosystem.
Let's look at the following research area:
https://www.jneurosci.org/content/21/12/4408
1. Can we integrate arts & musicology?
2. Can we integrate humanities (linguistics etc)
3. Can we integrate psychology and sub disciplines?
4. Can we integrate medical sciences (neuroscience, Psychophysics, neuropsychoanalysis etc
5. Can we integrate engineering?
