Our Hon’ble Prime Minister has urged all citizens to avoid usage of Petrol/Diesel for one day in a week. He has said that if 125 crore Indians pledge to do this, the dream of a ‘New India’ can be achieved.

use solar cars rather than using the more fuel consumed cars, make car pooling often, create awareness among the people to utilize the public transport system rather then using their own vehicles on daily basis, make campaigns in order to educate the people and tell them about the diseases the are spread by pollution in the cities.

a) Exercising control over Production and Consumption level of fuel would delimit usage of both producer and consumer. Thus making people more responsible of their consumption pattern. b) The above can be done via issuing FUEL CARD, which keeps track of their usage level and enabling people to plan accordingly. c) Public Transport system needs to be improved with greater connectivity.

Improving public transport system will ease this initiative of not using petrol and diesel for a day of week or people may switch to opt for public transport giving up their use of personal vehicles if public transport system is improved with affordable cost.
