my suggestion for this is -
1. Allot carbon credit points to individual user by monitoring his/her fuel use.
while selling fuel to individual the refueling dealer should enter his/her name and /or every user shall declare his/her fuel requirement per month and use below that limit shall be allotted carbon credit points which could be redeemed at the time of paying direct/indirect taxes.
2.we are forming a club at our locality level to assess possibility/feasibility of vehicle pooling.

1. Public transport should be of world class quality and very affordable, or almost free. People will be using it for saving money. And Govt can finance the transportation by savings in the fuel import bills.
2. Banning high end bikes and cars, which consume lot of fuel.
3. There should be only 5 working day week. Govt can compensate this by increasing number of hours per day from 8 hours to 9.
4. Promoting use of bicycles, which does not require much investment.

Respected pm sir, here is my suggestion to minimize the usage of petrol and Diesel. India have large number of people who are working in IT sector for whom work from home concept may be helpful in avoiding them to travel daily to their working place. Car pooling should become mandatory for 4 days a week..A system should be formed to monitor this. Public transport must be promoted in a different way to motivate the people to use it.

1. Can you make Indian Politicians and top shot Bureaucrats stop using multiple vehicles in their convoy.
2. Give Global standard infra. to your public for using environment friendly vehicles.
3. Provide appropriate Road Infrastructure to citizens and Make strict rules for Lane Driving. Too much of Fuel is wasted because of this.
4. Stop corruptions in License Authorities and Make Training classes mandatory to all type of vehicles before issuing licenses. This will reduce burden on roads.

People should be encouraged for Bicycle which would give both health and saving. But I would request to Central & State Govt. to develop the Infrastructure, Residential Colonies keeping Global Standards in mind.
Make sure people drive in Lanes.
Roads should be designed by Qualified Architects
Smart City was one such initiative but I don't think it is in right hands because Corruption, Misuse of Power and authority has always been eating these kind of good projects like termites.

My Honorable Prime Minister Modi Ji in our Bharath any thing is possible when you declare some sort of monetary benefits for the purpose,my sincere suggestion is for example I live in Mysore and like wise where ever you have to implement this initiative all you have do is ask the vechicle owners to leave the vechicle in a designated place where you can have people from the petroleum ministry to monitor and give them some bonus points for not using the vechicle and not using it for one day .
