Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. We hereby request you to provide us your valuable insights and suggestions on the proposal.

Enhance walkability through provision of NMT and restricting motorized transport through rationalized traffic movement within the area.

Kalyan Railway Station West area is very congested, there is enough space allocated to Rickshaw stand and still many Rickshaw stand on the road which just gives one lane to all the vehicles to go towards ST Stand. You will always see traffic from Deepak Hotel to ST stand, something needs to be done to resolve this issue.

कल्याण ईस्ट मधे रेलवे ची खुप मोठी जागा पडीक पडलेली आहे.ह्या जागेत मुंबई मधील शक्ति मिल सारखे प्रकार घडू शकतात.त्यामुळे रेलवे व महानगरपालिकेने लवकरात लवकर ह्या जागेचे काहीतरी करावे.ही जागा रेलवे होटल किवा अन्य व्यवसायसाठी भाडेतत्वावर देऊ शकते.तसेच कल्याण पूर्वे तील नागरिकांना रिक्शा स्थानकपासून रेलवे स्टेशन वर पोहोचन्यासाठी दोन बोगदे चलावे लागतात.पावसाळयात तर येथील नागरिकांना स्टेशन पर्यन्त पोहोचन्यासाठी अतिशय त्रास सहन करावा लागतो.तर कृपया करून ह्या समस्यावर लक्ष्य घाला.

Constructing hostels and quarters for working women. Play house or availability of kindergarten at work place for children of working women. Making separate room for ladies to feed babies at railway station and bus depot. More number of clean & hygienic public toilets specially for ladies.

1.information center for government funded benefit schemes for women with digital display and posters about schemes, 2.identified list of criminals in and around kalyan with FIR number and date 3.All the above facilitues under single roof,functioning with computer networked database

1.Women empowerment and protection unit at kalyan with medical facilities, 2. counselling for women, child help line , 3.complaint registering on women harassment, 4.women entrepreneur development cell.
