In recent years, higher education has isolated itself from the society and there is a need to re-establish and strengthen higher education’s close linkages with the society. How can Universities foster social responsibility and engage in community outreach programmes. Sharing some working examples would also be a useful input.

In the National and societal Development and Welfare of mankind it is very essential that Higher Educational Institute should be linkages with their specific expertization by the method of financial support and Honorary to participant.Specific task awareness program and Knowledge Transformation effectively implemented in the society by means of Higher Education staff and student participation with financial support mode.NCC,NSS,Scouts and Guides,Ranzers and Rovers with Youth services Department

उच्‍चतर शि‍क्षा संस्‍थानों की सामाजि‍क वि‍कास में भूमि‍का को बढाने के लि‍ए इन संस्‍थानों के हर पाठयक्रम में सामुदायि‍क वि‍कास में सहयोग जैसे नाम से अनि‍वार्य पाठयक्रम अंश लागु करना होगा और नैति‍क रूप से छात्रों को इस जि‍म्‍मेदारी को नि‍भाने के लि‍ए प्रोत्‍साहि‍त करना होगा। हमारी युवा पीढी सामाजि‍क वि‍कास में अपनी भूमि‍का को स्‍वीकार तो करती हैं परन्‍तु उपयुक्‍त मंच उपलब्‍ध ना हो पाने के कारण परि‍णाम आशानुरूप नहीं होते हैं। वर्तमान समय में सोशल मि‍डीया इस दि‍शा में एक सशक्‍त माध्‍यम हो सकता है।
