Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

More Digitization should be concentrated on agricultural sector (precision agriculture), Healthcare (Integrating all major private/Govt hospitals in cities), and setting up of Incubator centers (to be made mandatory) in every Engineering College and involve Engineering students (both B.tech & M.Tech) & faculty to carry out research/innovation to bring out new products.

Mobile should not be a digital identity. Instead, government might issue a digital card linked to government server which should contain every detail about that person. This might be an easy thing for information gathering and checking. Also government might provide certain devices which read this card in times of alerts. This might help the government.

PM HAS ADVOCATED M-GOVERNANCE AS PART OF DIGITAL INDIA! M-GOVERNANCE WILL DEPEND ON AFFORDABLE, FAST & WIDELY AVAILABLE 4G MOBILE BROADBAND! THIS IS UNLIKELY AS ONGOING SPECTRUM AUCTION WILL RESULT IN SLOW, COSTLY & UNRELIABLE MOBILE INTERNET! LET US HOPE BETTER SENSE PREVAIL! WE NEED AFFORDABLE 4G NET IN SPECTRUM BELOW 1000 Mhz FOR SUCCESSFUL DIGITAL INDIA WHICH IN TURN IS DEPENDANT ON GOOD MOBILE NETWORKS. 3G & 4G IN 1800 Mhz & ABOVE IS UNRELIABLE DUE TO FREQUENT SIGNAL LOSS!

sir, i think it will be the better option so that we dont have to carry our documents all the time to the organistations if we have documents in our mobile or e-adhaar link all the documents with the adhaar card. so that we should always carry aadhaar or E-aadhaar with us and dont have to take tension of other documents.
