Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

Hello every1 . Dis is nayneet here i was shocked that addhar is nt a valid proof for goverment regerstation. Then why aadhar is made That means goverment had waste time n money fr this stupid thing like addhar when it is nt useful for goverment work Hope to get a posting reply then how will be digital india

The concept of mobile as digital identity is good, but it is not secure or foolproof . All rural citizens are not equipped to use mobile effectively . I would have started with highly encrypted smart-card having Aadhar information and uses Kiosks and Teller machines with cameras to authenticate as well as provide info service, pension, wages and other heal-care discounts. The receipts and acknowledgements may land on mobile. Government can rope in Banking and postal department to provide ATMS.

Namaste, I would like to donate some amount in PM funds(Defense) but I am not having Net banking facility and I understand that due to some security reason donation is only through Netbanking but also I would like to request you to provide facility to donate even debit card holders.Thank You.

Today mobile phones converted to basic needs of us.Government taking many decisions &launched many policies for our benefit But In rural areas it is hardly to reached them.through the process of digital identity every person has own identity through mobile and aware all of the policies in this method.In this process,people basically who is a senior citizen and physically handicapped got more relief& they have no more problems in Banking & Identity Papers and Direct communication with government.

In railway stations Platform tickets is a pain. It should be made on-line or can be made available at post offices as well.
