Abhiyan Swabhimaan Majority NRIs in the Gulf are low income often domestic workers. This combined with lower levels of human rights often leads to exploitation.Majority do not voice their concerns because they are not sure to get support. To make every Indian hold their head high,we need to do something.Team up volunteers to register & visit every domestic worker once a year.Provide volunteers/professional lawyers to represent people in need.NRI welfare fund to finance such activities. Jai Hind.

Sub:Organic farming / horticultural How can we make small scale farming viable? Many people have small pieces of land. We need an agency (Public, Private or combined) to help turn someone's land into "ready to cultivate" units complete with drip irrigation, green house, automatic water pump, security. The agency should coordinate to make govt subsidy available to farmer, build infrastructure required, provide expert advice, viability gap funding, insurance etc. Turn this into a revolution.

Just reminded me 1999 Kandhar issue when BJP was in power and a plane was hijacked and India had to release some terrorists. Please make sure all security eyes are on and vigilant .....

A big salute to the Indian Gov for the initiative to take a step in interacting with the fellow citizens. The would a good opportunity to share our thought for the development of our nation and to stand ahead among the world nations. It should be noted that NRIs are a key resource for the development of our nation and I believe the gov also should take actions in considering the issues facing by the NRI community. I hope the new gov should take necessary actions to adress NRI's issues.

So signing a social security transfer agreement between india and USA will give following benefits : 1. Lot of forming exchange to country as lacs of people are working on visa in USA. 2. Visa holders will get their retirement money then they can make more contribution towards country as well have safe retirement. It's high time and lacs of visa holders will give you blessings to stop this injustice.

Social security agreement with USA Dear Modi sir America deduct social security contribution of 15% from employees salaries. If employees are on H1B and L1 visa then they have to return to india if they lose their job or if visa not renewed or have not got green card. In such return conditions they do not get the amount they contributed for social security I.e. Their retirement. This money technically should be refunded to visa holders in their retirement account of their country.

I am seeing in media that the government wants to amend the Lokpal to exclude spouse and children of public servamts from declaring their assets. This is a retrograde step. Please do not amend Lokpal on these lines.

Dear PM, your visit to Japan made a big impact; it gave a big boost to India-Japan relations. We need to promote interpersonal/cultural exchanges between peoples of Japan and India. Such interaction can also help our Swattch Bharat drive. Cleanliness at home and in community is an essential part of character of Japanese people; they learn it at school where children clean their own classrooms. Some of it may rub off on friends they make in India. Rabinder Malik, long-term resident of Japan

I have suggestion for NRI investments (1) TDS deducted from their rental incomes in from their homes in India is 30%.To get this refund is nightmare for them requiring lot of work which they cant do from abroad without somebodys help in India. So they have stopped further investment in India. It should be only 10% as for other Indians. Why should NRI s be treated differently as if they are assumed to be cheats in our Income tax law and by our law makers.(2) They should be easily allowed t
