INCREDIBLE-AIR INDIA : Modiji states that little steps taken in the right direction will lead to big achievements. In an attempt to make a difference, here is an attached picture of the flight AI-111 (Del-LHR, dated 04/09/2014), whereby my kids were subjected to safety hazard, due to non-existent maintenance regime of Air-India - seats broken, TV's on all 3 seats not working, spot light switch broken, non-cooperative, arrogant air stewards...'Athithi Devo Bhava' does not exist !!

NRIs and Future India: NRIs support India very much from outside. The actual outcome of NRIs is seen in India in terms of foreign exchange, which is only a part of the savings and has nothing to do with the efforts that Indians offer to foreign counties. Then, think about the miracles that can be made in India by such NRIs if they are PROPERLY brought back to India?

If we do that in India for first few years I believe after that the tourism of India will spread by word of mouth. I also wish if Indian government can enroll few private agencies for specific purpose of assisting foreign tourist so that they feel comfortable when visiting India. I believe its not tough to implement this its just that we need good people behind it.

I beleive India is a God country. There is so much to experience in India, that no other country in this world can provide. A country which can house 1.2 billion people is Gods own country. From Himalayas in North to Kerala in deep south. I have been to various places in India and I realized the value when I visited other countries like New Zealand, Australia , Malaysia etc. We need the government of India to market tourism in India in a much bigger way.

Introduce E-gate cards for Frequent international travelers, Businessmen and NRIs. Many countries are introducing e-gate cards from their citizens who are frequent international travelers. This system has many advantages.

INDIA should be marketed as retirement capital of world with special consideration from hassels by income tax department. Retired people can bring money from abroad to support their life in India and provide employment to their house staff like maids, cooks, drivers, medical aids etc. Why not create special retirement zones like duty free zones! It is win win situation for both retired people and the country.

OCI holders have their own problems in visiting India for Charity work or investment activities. Look at one simple roadblock!!! OCI holders are issued OCI booklet that indentefies them as holders of OCI. BUT WHEN THEY ARRIVE IN INDIA, they are asked to produce old passport in which OCI sticker was attached. Why do we need double certification? When we visit commercial agency for new sticker on renewed passport, we are told process takes two months!!! It is like applying for OCI again.

NRIs OCIs and PIOs can contribute to growth of India if it was easier for them to visit India often and as long as they needed. Government should change residency requirements for Income Tax so they can participate in growth of India and contribute foreign exchange without fear.

Govt. of India / State govt's has to set-up organizations which identify local talent in various sports and train them by providing all required facilities, so that they develop their skills and raise to state/national/international level. NRIs who are interested in sports/games can financially support these organizations alongwith the government. But the questoion comes how many NRIs would be interested in this. I think NRIs contribution can be better used in uplifting poor people in the society. This can be achieved by financial participation of NRIs like many other countries. Govt. can make a law/scheme where in regularly some amount from NRIs income has to be deposited to Govt and when they become old / return to india they must be paid some monthly income as pension by govt. This can be implemented to all citizens of india, this will give lot of money to govt. and it can be prudently invested by govt. in many developmental schemes.
