NRI's are frequent holiday travellers and each NRI should make it a point to leave reviews on popular portals like Tripadvisor, whether it be a hotel, restaurant or any place of attraction. Most of the foreign tourists, affluent and economical, yearn for a taste of our local culture and they depend heavily on Tripadvisor for unbiased opinions. Institutionalising this may defeat the original objective. r can help a lot in increasing tourist arrivals.

All placement agencies who had issued " JOB OFFERS" but NOT send VISA must be punished. Myself worked in Libya, Saudi Arabia, UAE etc. Now got offer from " Upman Placements, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India " for " AC ARABIA, Dammam, Saudi Arabia" . Received job offer letter but NOT VISA. So they can do it with many candidates. Milind Thosar

Earlier in 2002, Mr. Pramod Mittal led ISPAT had acquired controlling stake or management control to run Integrated steel plants at Libya, Nigeria, Phillipines, Kazaksthan, Bulgeria etc. But later lost control one by one. With govt. help, we can get the same control, run in better way than ISPAT. Sure about it. There is scope to acquire Libyan Iron and Steel company, Misurata, Libya, Nigeria and other countries in the Russian continent and worldwide. Myself can help .B.E.--Mechanical + MBA

Added incentives for such NRIs who are contributing in infrastructural cooperation could be gifted appropriately like giving their names to the roads or whatever they have contributed in e.g. good sanitation system, solar power conservations, etc., ecological encouragement, beautification of their towns/hamlets. The elected MP could help financially. Being an NRI, he might have better, cheaper ideas of homes, sanitations, water tappings, etc. Making use of their expertise is necessary.

Each NRI could give a descriptive coverage to his hometown, whether city or his own cute hamlet. This could encourage agri tourism for NRIs. Ancient modes of transports, traditional authentic food, customs could be glamourised, ie. enhanced and made more impressive to attract more visitors. NRIs could contact the MP elected from his constituency and work out more infrastructural cooperation and make their little contributions and continue their umblical connections with their towns.

An OCI holder should apply for re-issue of their OCI card if they are issued a new passport: For an applicant who is 20 years of age or younger, OCI documents must be re-issued each time a new passport is issued. For an applicant who is 50 years of age or older, OCI documents must be re-issued once after the issuance of a new passport. For an applicant who is 21 to 49 years of age, there is no need to re-issue OCI documents each time a new passport is issued. This law is senseless byP. Chidam??

Dual citizenship (issuing of Indian passport, not the OCI card) should be granted to NRIs in certain nations. We have to make sure these high quality talents/individuals and their children are not forever lost to the foreign lands and they maintain their connection back with the homeland across generations. The next generations will be encouraged to participate in the India story.
