Strictly handle and resolve long delayed corruption issue. Open offices in every town and city to tackle this evil issue. Drastically improve judiciary system and expedite court cases to enable poor people to get right justice.

For sure they can, but we have to look at the infra we are providing the tourists, tourists are today scared to enter the country because of various reasons, well know to all. In addition poor transport system at the airports, railway stations, bus stops, poor booking counters at railway stations, fleecing hotel agents etc. discourage tourists from entering the country. A small country like Singapore survives on tourism. We have to set our house in order before we invite guests.

I am of the opinion that NRI's should not be harassed at International arrivals point. If things are made easier, without any hassles and quickly, then all tourists, including NRI's will be much happier. I would also like to suggest an INDIA DEVELOPMENT FUND, whereby each NRI and the Indian Diaspora contribute GB Pounds 10 (ten pounds only, USD 17.00 approx.), so that we can contribute to the Development of India. These fund should be controlled by the Hon. Prime Ministers office. Kishore.UK

India has amazing potential to grow tourism to boost GDP as well as earn critical foreign exchange. However, their is a need to develop and refresh critical "tourism infrastructure" around identified tourist clusters. Urgent need to clean cities, improve connectivity through roads / rail / air and add information centres in key locations of these clusters. Best way to attract sustainable inbound tourism is by having a great product. The fundamentals exist but the infrastructure needs to be built

i have traveled across India from north to south with my other female friends from various other countries. These are just my observations : 1. Women get harassed no matter who they are. We got gropped in a bus in Kerala and I have to make the bus full of passengers stop till police take my FIR. Police wanted me to forgive the molester. 2. Traveling alone is not safe, renting a room was the most unsafe bit 3. there is no safe travel system in night 4. 90% of men are leacherous

India has many tourist attractions, we are not promoting them they way Singapore is promoting. First we should attract the domestic crowd and improve the quality of tourist places to world class and then attract foreign tourists, tourist places can be developed on BOT basis.

The biggest hurdle is obtaining a VISA. This is the biggest deterrent. Many countries allow online Visa applications and Visa is issued with in 10 minutes online. The prospective tourist prints it on his or her printer for their own record. On arrival, only valid passport needs to be produced and the rest of the data is verified by the immigration officer online in less than a minute and the tourist enters the country. That is what needed for foreign Tourism to increase.

Yes!Surely. They should try to promote about India whenever they get a chance. They should tell about the the beauty of India even during conversations, chattings, etc.

The answer is Yes.Many overseas social forums like Bengali / Gujarati samaj should have a tie up with reputed travel agency back home to facilitate tour packages to their regions , showcase the potential . ONLY a professional service based agencies should be engaged through local Indian consulate, no name spoilers. The Indian consulate in touch with tourism ministry should support with local adverting ,AV promotional material like campaign- Incredible India.Word of mouth helps in suggestions.

First ensure voting mandatory to retain citizenship. .ensure and promote voting a birth right...create a mode for fool proof transparent voting system. Promulgate postal voting for all NRI. .disallow money clout of vested industrialist NRI and interference in elections
