Part 8/15:GIVE TAX HOLIDAYS TO LED LAMP MFR FROM ABROAD – THOSE WHO WANT TO COME TO INDIA & JOIN MAKE IN INDIA:- Foreign firms interested to come here, & invest in LED lamp, do R & D in the field as well as manufacturing in India, should be given attractive tax holidays so that, cost of the LED lamps becomes affordable to common man & in the process, everyone starts using it & save energy for the nation.

Part9/15:ACCORD NIL CUSTOMS DUTY BENEFITS TO EQPTS NEEDED FOR ‘WASTE TO ENERGY’ POWER PLANTS:- India will be a much cleaner country, if we REALIZE THE WEALTH OF THE WASTE & start using our waste to generate energy. Presently most of these machineries required for the waste to energy power plants are imported & in order to make it more attractive & viable, we need to EXTEND NIL CUSTOMS DUTY BENEFITS TO ALL SUCH MACHINERIES. This will create jobs too.

Part10/15:EXTEND DIRECT BENEFIT TRANSFER SCHEME TO PDS TOO:- Just as the largely successful PAHAL (subsidy of LPG is being transferred to Bank A/C), this scheme should be extended to PDS too, to avoid rampant misusing/pilferage of PDS subsidy. Give incentive/fin. Packages to States, who can switch over to this scheme on a mission mode, in 5 years flat! INDIA CAN SAVE LOTS OF SUBSIDY THEN!

Part11 - A/15: PART FINANCE THE STATES TO DISTRIBUTE LED LAMPS TO NEEDY GROUPS (BPL) THROUGH PDS:- Most of the people below BPL, those who’ve electricity connections, can today afford only Incandescent lamps of 60W, which cost hardly Rs. 15/= & they cannot afford LED lamps of reputed quality which cost Rs. 350/-; Given huge domestic consumption of 60W Incandescent lamps in millions of homes, we could save lot of energy, if we switch over to LED.

Part 11-B/15 : But, since LED is costlier, not all can afford it. So, Part finance the ‘LEAD INDIA WITH LED’ Scheme, to assist the states to start distribution of LED lamps through PDS to BPL Groups to begin with & energy saved in this process can be sold to Industries AT HIGHER TARIFF. ONE CAN NOT ONLY SAVE SUBSTANTIAL MONEY THROUGH THE PROCESS, IN THE ORDER OF CRORES, BUT COULD ALSO SAVE LOTS OF ENERGY WHICH CAN BE SOLD AT HIGHER TARIFF TO INDUSTRIAL UNITS-FOR DETAILS PL SEE THE ENCLOSURE.

Need to do away with Special Additional Duty on Imports as it does not make any sense in paying the same by trader and then again claiming the same as refund. The entire process involves a lot of paper work for a businessman and amounts to waste of lots of productive manhours.Due to departmental inefficiency businessmen are put to lots of trouble and loss in the form of interest due to delays in issuing refunds and last but not the least it promotes corruption. Manufacturer get it back as modvat
