Income tax slab for individuals of Taxable income of Rs 10 Lacs and above is same. Though below 10 lacs there are 3 slabs with small intervals. This is not logical. IT rate paid by a person with taxable income of Rs 10 lacs and Rs 10 Crores is same. Budget proposal should create at least 2 more slabs, one at Rs 1 Crore and another at Rs 10 Crores. This will reduce imbalance, will increase revenue and create good feeling in low income group.

Increasing nos of cars in cities are resulting in higher pollution, parking problem which may result in social problems. New policy should be announced in the budget to discourage purchase and use of cars for personal use. For this public transport should improve to the extent that it is as convenient as use of personal car. Budget should announce such policy. In city like Delhi Metro network should be made more dense and should be implemented with faster speed. Other cities needs such action.

NPA of banks increasing steeply.Willful defaulters cheating banks. Remuneration of top executives of these entities has no cap. Most of such companies has share holding majority of promoters and thus pass a resolution, take share holders nod and enjoys higher, unjustified remuneration. A cap is needed for such entities.Bank/financial institution nominated directors, auditors, loan sanctioning top executives be made liable for such happenings. Law should be amended accordingly. - KEJARIWAL .

Like in Gas Subsidies, wherein customers are asked to pay full amount of Gas purchase and then subsidies amount is send through ECS in Customers savings account. In the same way those paying Income Tax every month should be given back some incentive in the form of Points which can be redempt through Redempt card to be issued by Finance Ministry,Govt of India.Say for example those paying Rs.10000/- they should be given Rs.500/- equal amounts points, which can be redempt by purchase of goods etc.

The details of the properties with ownership name, value etc are available in the public domain in US. Like "Aadhar Scheme" India Govt should initiate steps to create a transparent Data Base of all the properties in the Country. This would also reduce property disputes, and faulty claims of ownership and dubious sale of such properties.and consequent litigations.

The DBTL scheme for LPG cylinders is excellent. The similar can be done for other tax benefits: 1. Insurance/FD/Home Loan EMI payments : The user should get to pay the reduced premium amount depending on his/her tax slab. The govt can pay the remaining amount. This will avoid 2 people from claiming the benefits from same payments twice. 2. Tax Slab should be inflation-indexed. 3. Non-essential tax breaks such as medical/LTA can be removed and tax slab can be increased, thus avoiding fraud bills

The Govt should bring back the appointment of Income Tax Inspectors to survey the assigned territory to collect data of the individual commercial establishments, High value residential properties, Turn over, rental income etc to be connected to PAN CARD and AADHAR Card to create a Data Base to plug loop holes in income suppression and ultimate loss of revenue to the ex chequer. The job of Income Tax Inspectors should be monitored by surprise checks by Superiors.

Govt should encourage construction industry only in infra projects and small dwellings below the cost of 20 lacs. Only one housing per family should be eligible for tax break.

When the economy picks up there is a possibility of prime rate bubble hitting India. This is because banks treat post dated cheques as security and lend home loans without actually assessing credit worthiness. No salaried can be sure of his income 3 years hence particularly in modern days.
