For commercial establishments where water is used for drinking, floor cleaning and toilet use only, there should be no difference between domestic and commercial water charges.

To save the dying bedsheet/bedsheet cloth industry (powerlooms as well as printing factories) of Ahemdabad, Tamil Nadu, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Panipat and UP in which crores of workers are employed, or self employed (traders) from closure, import of synthetic 3D bedhseets/bedsheet cloth (which is harmful for skin and which has brought down the sale of made in India bedsheets to less than 30%) must be stopped.

Power supplying companies are making huge profits whereas most of the traders at present are facing unprecedented slump and are struggling for survival. So the power tariffs for commercial establishments should be brought at par with the domestic power tariffs.

To provide relief to public and small traders, VAT should be reduced to 1% so that people may not compel the trader to sell goods without bill. In this case, revenue collection will certainly increase because of much better compliance.

Looking to the present standards of living, existing limit of tax exemption should be increased to Rs. 5.00 lacs. Tax slabs should also be raised. There should be NO tax on FD interest paid to the Senior Citizens because most of Senior Citizens are dependent on their interest income.

with massive allocationof funds, make expansion of judicial services, ensuring prompt justice delivery, which will enhance people's faith in govt.s ability to give "acchhe din". atleast 10% of Indian population which engaged in some sort of litigation, will perceive difference between UPA and NDA govt.s ability to improve people's life. This will also boost economic activity, confidence and the investment in extra expenditure will bring oggd national dividend.

Sir, Government Departments are forced to spend allotted funds by March 31, even if unnecessary. If the money is not spend, next year allocation is curtailed. This practice should be finished Forever and encourage Officials to spend wisely, effectively. Don't force them to waste taxpayers hard earned money.

Sir, My suggestions towards simplifying income tax rules for salaried class. Throw out 80C, 80D so and so rules. Just deduc t a flat % from the taxable income. No deductions, exemptions. IT IS SO SIMPLE FOR EMPLOYEES & INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT, FOR EVERYBODY..
