The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

Sir i agree with swapnil now a days education become business in many private school take the fees large and even after tht not give quality of student becuse they got there money, so plse look into the status of government to make it good o all we think to make child to government school in that there is no building ,no teacher even many school no electricity so plse i request u to improve the education system i have many regarding improving school teachin if u here i can give sir

You are doing a great job in south Mumbai. I have seen lots of dustbin installed with in the sufficient parameter. You are doing a great job sir, keep it on. Although BMC is under shiv sena but I believe that this happening because of your pressure or may be election pressure. It is adviced to put DDT powder within proper frequency near dustbin so that there will be no scope for mosquitos.

Dear sir, I think govt will have pay attention to some retail price cost such as, vegetable and other things. Suppose that the price of oil is decreasing but auto and bus fare did not reduced so i think govt will have to ponder over this problem.because many people live in poverty line so it is basic thing for general man Thanks BRAJ KISHOR SINGH

महोदय ई-शासन एप्लीकेशन ओपनसोर्स प्रणाली के अंतर्गत लोगों के द्वारा किसी एप्लीकेशन के स्रोत के प्रयोग में लगने वाले समय में कमी लाने के लिये पेंशन का साफ्ट्वेयर हो तो रिटायर्मेट के बाद कार्मिक को परेशान नहीं होना पडेगा बिलम्ब ही भ्रष्टाचार की जननी है इस कारण रिटायर्मेट के दिन ही उसके सारे क्लेम मिल जाने पर भ्रष्टाचार होगा ही नही।अन्य पेंशनों में भी ओन लाईन हो जाने से भ्रष्टाचार नही होगा आफिसों में पेपर वर्क समाप्त हो जायेगा पेंशन को कहीं से भी चेक किया जा सकेगा समय में कमी से सिस्टम ठीक हो जायेगा

We are getting attacked from all sides. Wars are fought in the cyber space. I have been someone who has worked in the cyber security space in an MNC for past 10 years. My expertise is around targeted attacks with specific focus on attacks against India. http://blogs.mcafee.com/mcafee-labs/quarian-group-targets-victims-with-spearphishing-attacks We need to develop offensive and defensive cyber capabilites and isolate these groups from red tapism and bureaucratic impediments.
