The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

Dear SIr, Mai Bidar ke nivasi hoon. Hamare city me aap ki jan dhan yojana bahut yashashvi hua he but ek dikkat yeh he ki Bidar City ke ward no 32 ke logo ko bidar ke 8km door ke ek gaon me khata khulvane ka sujhav diya ja raha he balki hamare ward se 500m door Bank of baroda ka main branch he aur 1.5 km door aur ek national bank ka branch he itna suvidha hote hue bhi hamare ek hi ward ke logo 8km door ke khede gaon jana pad raha he. Krupaya is dikkat ko sujhav dijiye sir plz....!!

(contd) Now how do you expect citizens to not give bribe when the systems itself is carefully designed that way?? A simple appointment system can be built by any IT company and load can be balanced by adding more servers! I am sure govt knows this basic thing. Why this is not happening?

PASSPORT SEVA - or should that be renamed? I dont know when things really start working in India really as a Seva!! I am frustrated trying to get passport seva appointment online. This has happened before, it is still happening and it will happen in future as the government is serious of serving the agents, encourage bribes rather than simplify anything. Now to get an appointment for passport, the only way is to bribe some agent and get appointment from him. It can never work if you try yourself

Dear Sir, I understand that Doordarshan has a copy of all the movies that have been produced by indian Cinema.Also we are from the times when Doordarshan was the only channel so we all remember the TV serials whether we are from Kashmir or Kanyakumari(it seems to bind us) My suggestion is,if DD can make a website and put all movies/serials online,the government can do a good service and also make good money by charging a fee. Govt needs to be very serious about excess use of pesticides in agriculture especially vegetables. Efforts on war footing are required to take care of this issue. Injections to cow/buffalo and high adulteration in milk is a another serious issue. serious attention is required in this area.

I am a Govt employee but day by day thing are getting bad to worst because there is no importance to merit and honesty. Only caste matters. Let there is exams for all types of promotions, otherwise open category people are getting almost frustrated.Let there be reservation at the entry but no in promotions.In any deptt 50% high level posts should be from promotions, as experience is more imp.

Solar water heater is actually a very great successful idea but to a very large extend untapped. Many people do not use it only becoz plumbing is faulty. 95% of people do plumbing in such a way that after taking out hot water, cold water mixes and temperatures of balance water goes down. This can be easily avoided by using the principle that water remains in the same level. Solar at my home is a good example. This can be provided by govt to poor,tribal, hostels, and lakhs rupees can be saved.

dear sir i m frm SAHONI BALAI GAAV my village is very popular 4 international marketing with NEPAL.lots of people's came from NEPAL 4 purchasing goods n services..but here is an problem of no CUSTOM OFFICE, so please sir ENQUIRE my areas n provide custom office.. i also informed to b.j.p minister SAVITRI BAI FULE but she is not doing anything 4 us ,sir u can't imagine the condition of road very very very bad road.. pls ENQUIRE abt my area.. u r great but ur few ministers r not good.. thnx

The health cost of tobacco smoking and eating is far exceed than the revenue it generate .Lakhs of citizens dies due to cancer,so it is also connected with foundamental right to live granted by constitution. Increase in taxes or to sell in package will do little. It is additive and demand inelastic means do nothing to curb tobacco consumption..Successive Govt. are working under the pressure of TOBACCO LOBY, which is very strong. THE EXPERT COMMETEE report is eye wash, suggesting cosmetic changes

Like we have RTI and Consumer Forum, we must have central complain registration center online. Currently there are so many cases in which people don't know where to complain, due to which complains can not reach to authorized person and problem becomes worst from bad.
