The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

Why not to digitize entire Central Excise and custom departments and provide the tracking numbers for each steps to the Asses or exporters? This will make the depts. accountable and time bound and ease of doing business.

Dear Sir COLLABORATIVE APPILCATION DEVELOPMENT IS A GREAT IDEA BUT IT HAS TO BE PROPERLY TUNES SO THAT IT CANNOT BE MISUSED.PROPER CANVAS IN MEDIA CAN BE DONE FOR BETTER USE

sir wanted to congratulate AADHAR dept. 1st public dept in my lifespan of 46 yrs to call back in less than 2 hrs , make 3 calls and resolve my problem on time. If they can do it, why not the others. Like to mention the name Aparna Mittal and Ramakrishna Kotivada. these people will make AADHAR a reality in no time. Thank you Sir for keeping aadhar alive and taking it forward.

Sir, only 3.5Cr people in India pay taxes. out of which 4 lakhs in the 20 lakhs bracket and 40000 in 1Cr bracket. This is ridiculous. In the same country 4 cr people fly domestic airlines. Can we not make it mandatory for all domestic flyers to give PAN no before buying ticket and 20 flights shd put them in deemed Rs 20L tax category and greater than 100 in Rs 1Cr deemed category. similarly all house/ land owners above 1Cr land/house ownership should be put in a deemed tax category and taxed.

Why not vaccum cleaners instead of brooms for swachh bharat abhiyan. As brooms do not clean the dust properly and vaccum cleaners will do the best cleaning possible.

IN POST DEPT. THERE IS 1 UPSC PASS OFFICER IN GUJRAT STATE IN 1950 AND NOW 7 UPSC PASS OFFICER WORKING. THE LOWER STAFF STRENGTH COMPARED TO 1950 IS DICREASED BUT CLASS ONE INCREASED AND WORK BECAME WITH MANY HURDLES. NO QUICK DESISONS TAKEN AND FILE RUN FROM ONE TO OTHERS. WE MUST DECREASED CLASS 1 POSTS FOR BETTER GOVERNANCE AS DNA OF CLASS 1 AND POLITICIANS ARE SAME.

IN ALL GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS ( PERMIT,LICENCE,PASSPORT,ID PROOF,BANK A/C REGISTRY ,LAND TRANSFER,PLOT TRANSFER ,ETC) NAME,FATHER NAME,DOB PRMANENT ADDERESS AND SIGNATURE PROOF SHOULD BE IMPORT OR LINKED FROM AADHAR CARD ONLY TO PREVENT FROUD AND BLACK MONEY.
