We should look towards our society for research and innovations. Smart agriculture practices, malnutrition, shortage of drinking water, poor food processing and preservation, poor medical facilities are the problems where new researches are required urgently. Govt should create a positive environment for innovation in these fields. Again govt should enforce our universities to work with some set goals. A university does deserve to a status of Uni.until they don't work for surrounding area.

What actually research is? who will perform? Output? these are some basic questions arising from many of us...but reality is that no body wants to do research..only cut, copy paste is going on ....this is a frog race who are dipped in a well and if somebody wants to come outside than others will pull his leg and let him down....

First of all the scholarships for the fellow should be streamlined. The funds allocated for the projects should be released on time...Fellow are not getting fellowship on time ...Funding agency do not release the funds and time period of the project and fellowship ends...there is gr8 uncertainty in that. How we can do good research if we are not able to take care of our families...

I was wandering whether anyone is looking at these commdnts or ideas we are posting on the my gov page. I think the website manager should include a provision in this application that when the concerned official saw one comment it should be colored. The color coding can be different on the basis of different scenarios like it has been either noted or considered or selected or rejected and every rejected comment should be replied with a encourage statement to post in future too.

Like if an investigator write up a project on synthesis of anticancer drugs than the funding agency should ask for the list of chemicals & glasswares, number of samples, type of analysis, facilities required for project, amount of fellowship required with bank account number, mentor selection (optional for young non_regular candidates). The zbovd process might be considered only after therdcix some merits in the research project.

One idea is that project awarded to an investigator shoukd not required regular positions but rather upcoming researchers or young researchers should also be considered for thd project schemes and it is not yhe money but tge facilities which should be awarded to investigstors

Incidents of assaults like mental physical sexual etc. are increasing but univ are making joke to them by constituting internal committees where each member knows the accused person. My advice is to atleast 50% of the members should be external and atleast two students recommended by the petitioner should be the part of the committee for a fare and speedy process.

The universities offering phd show number of phd seats but it is pertinent to mention that they donot have facilities neither they provide chemicals or sample analysis facilities to reaearchers. My advice is to calculate the number of seats only on the basis of facilities available like felliwship, chemicals, guides, for scholars. Labs at institutes in haryana donot even have enough basic facilities like taps, fans, fuming cupboards while they are charging hefty fees.
