1. There are two aspects in science education - (a)theoretical and (b)practical or technological. Research can be in both of the above while innovation is usually on the latter alone. The approach for the two aspects hence cannot be identical and dealt with separately. 2. R&I in IT/engineering field is quite different from that in biological field with different timelines, rates of success, infrastructure requirements etc.. Thus, they need to be addressed separately.

12. Interdisciplinary science should be promoted. 13. Emphasis on creating local data bank in the field of medicine, economy, Agriculture, etc should be made. Work on our population data, and not on western data. 14. Encourage collaborative work in multiple fields. 15. Influence of corporates should be least when it comes to science. 16. Its well known that there is a substantial bias in Funding agency review committee. Members has to be scrutinised on their decision of granting a project.

7. Basic research facility should be provided for all institute (Universities). 8. Measures should be taken to stop corruption in project grants. 9. In south Indian universities, student sign on receipt of 15000 but they are paid only 5000. Rest 10000 we know where it goes! Its bitter truth. 10. Research students here are treated as labourer and not thinker/innovator/researcher. This kills their enthusiasm in science. 11. Salary of manpower should be directly transferred in their bank.

basic thinking should change more for good. Practicalization will help. personality of one never changes. Its a mathmematical (scientific) fact. Believing it, n using it to figure our ALLLLL strengths n weaknesses. We'll get simplified a lot at the very individual level.

Figures hardly matter whether we are enhancing the figures of our budget allocations on Research & Innovation from 0.8% to 1.5% of our GDP.What matters? it is our commitment to bring forth transformation in the area of R&D by bringing the top most institutions of India ranging from IITs to AIIMS to IIMs & DRDO to PUSA in the ambit of extension of Financial & Budgetary aids only on the basis of Extensive research & innovation being undertaken by them in every financial year.

For promotion of research, RESEARCH NGO should be formed in every state which will take care of research status of the institutes. Also it should be mandatory for every research institute or ubiversity to have one of such society which will guide the upcoming researchers. The alumni should be the part of such socity. We are trying to form such a society (scientific researchers welfate society) and need support of researchers and govt. for the same.
