statistics, Management and PSYCHOLOGY are the three subjects to be included from graduation and post graduation level if one is research oriented. A single guide / supervisor system should be eliminated at phd level, to make research more relevant.

In Polytechnic, projects leads to innovation. Inspite of strong will, Main Barrier is financial support. some research friend should support research requirements in such institutions. May be flourished institution in close proximity, or industries should come ahead for better research & innovation by polytechnic students and faculties. There are several research areas where students can be engaged and create miracle. An intelligent strategy is expected to change the scenario.

selection criterion based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination can never be indication for research intent of student which leads to wrong selection of students in institutions of higher learning. for right kind of stuff research institutions be set up at high school level, higher secondary level and college level with problem solving training and not just problem identification. and in this nursery we can find and groom real researchers

There are too many specialised institutions in India for a country of our size. The government and private players need to focus on breadth both for undergraduate studies and for research. The faculty (and student) strength at most of these specialised institutions need a improvement. It is also important to attract faculty (and students) from all over the world. Research is hardly on the forefront in Indian institutions:Premier institutions http://www.cmi.ac.in// does not have a research page.

Add project management knowledge as a compulsory subject in engineering disciplines can force the students to search for new ways in business opportunities, along with competitiveness to work in private sector. The country needs good project managers, who can single handedly integrate, introduce cutting edge technologies to mainstream businesses in private and public sector.

When faculty registering for research, they are also registering to consultants and project center parallely (maximum outcomes).By paying amount in lakhs they are purchasing the Ph.D It is the not the mistake of people, somewhere mistake in the system. create awareness and kindly share maximum of funds and research circulars to affiliated institutions as other academic circulars.....etc to share and comment don't have space. Obviously it is a matter to analyze deeply and solve.
