As a student I find out that our education system need a fresh look. Our schools and colleges do not take any initiative to enhance the research as they are focused only how can they earn more and more profit. They only have to complete the syllabus. I suggest that government made innovative projects compulsory in schools for each class XI and XII and for each semester in colleges such that students get more and more knowledge through these projects.

So, According to me there should be a proper investment into research area in every field from school level itself, so that research is not only left for the people who pursue post graduation and above, since research needs patience. Students would be trained at an early age to bear a mind of a innovator and teachers and parents could well know if the child can be a researcher or not, which will further help in the career shaping prospects.

As a student I have always experienced a lack of research environment around me. Even if we need to enroll ourselves into research work we don't get proper guidance and further as we need to complete our syllabus, take examinations etc we are barely left with time to research on some topic ourselves. Without proper guidance , adequate research is very difficult. And due to this reason many students who want to pursue a career as a researcher need to look for other options.
