It is important to focus more attention towards imparting practical knowledge to students so that they can explore new dimensions of learning. In higher education system, more options should be given to students where they can do research activities in various fields and for that, honorarium can be given to such students/research scholars.

Research is an important part of higher education and the former NDA unvisioned govt had disqualified all the PhD holdefs for higher education as they have implemented 2009 Regulation even on the PhD holders who have been either registered or awarded degree before 2009. A relaxation should be given to such candidates as they dont have any fault in it as it was a total fault of the system as there were no provisions of course work or enterence before

hat a pity it is that UGC Regulation made in 2009 and implemented in 2010 has disqualified mostly all the teachers who have taught us according to it a simple NET is eligible but a PhD holder is not elible to teach in higher eduacation What was the fault of the PhD candidates registered before 2009 if there was no provision of course work or enterence for them in several universities PhD holders registered before 2009 should be exempted from compulsion of NET like the PhD holders after 2009
