- A nation-wide project registry must be created. It should act as a platform for transparent evaluation and feedback by experts in the related area. - Originality must be encouraged by way of funding or recognizing undergraduate and school projects - Open funding where interested individuals, corporates, trusts and government agencies can directly fund projects across all levels (school, diploma, undergraduate etc) must be established

There must be a unique Research Aptitude Test based on international standards. This test should not include the subject knowledge but the development of ones brain for innovations and research. The ongoing practice is that low brain quality persons who do not get jobs anywhere are doing research work and Ph.D.'s and after that who is lucky to have his relative in the interview board is getting a job as scientist or any researcher's.In reality we have no scientist now but crowed of cheats.

Since the credit system is in place in a number of Central Universities, it is suggested that instead of using assignments and written projects for internal assessment, credit be given to participating in research studies. This in turn will spur researchers to take up more research since assistance is available. This is particularly the case for human subjects research in areas of sociology, psychology, and economics. Students will therefore be able to learn more about how research works as well

Research promotion probably is there in system but the implementation strategy is too weak to give output. Once the project is approved by funding agency, the equipment to be procurred under the project should be done by central agency directly to avoid the delay and red tapism. Govt rules are too hectic to carry out research. Research funding proposals should be evaluated without biasness, this criteria needs more transparency. Those who wish to do research are not getting funding.

India largely depends on foreign technology but to make India an attractive place especially for make in India program step should be taken in R&D promotion. Various IIT colleges should conduct contest at all India Level and seminars to promote this activity and some rules relating to patent should be liberalized and little less expensive.
