The basic science subjects are base of all researches but today these subject are going downfall because cream students are interested only on professional courses and education centers school and colleges have no good quality teachers and professors then how can they produce good students and scientist. So there is require to setup a programe or developing these basic science subjects in our school and colleges.Without this our country can't develop in research quality.

TO promote the R&D and Phd. govt should announce courses where student will directly take admission for UG+PG+Phd say for duration of 6-7 years after 12th. i.e the student will be able to pass out at the age of 25-26. The common perception among student is that it is tiring to study UG for 4 years and PG for another 2 years and then PHD. Steps to be taken to shorten the time period for completion of course.

2.There must be integrated research institutions with pool of professors(to avoid monopoly of any supervisors)and these professors(expert in different fields )must be answerable to the university authorityand and also must be bound to actually guide to the students to the level best. 3.Any post and promotion must be given on the basis of open competition but not on the basis of PhD degree. This provides plateform for corruption in academia.

To accelerate growth in every field, a country must have strong and capable centres for R&D.As a reseach scholar and teacher, I have seen many complications in the area of innovation and R&D , that need immediate removals. 1.To prevent corruption in the education, current format of taking PhD degree must be thrashed.A research scholar put his 100% only to satsfy his superviser.Institutions and supervisors are least concern about the quality of the work and most concern about the CHAMCHAGIRI.

It is my request to you to please look into it, and do the needful. Waiting for too long will lead to more brain drain to the other developed countries and our country will not have any innovators to foster new age developments, which in the long run will affect our growth.

Research should given the impetus according to me. Many of us aspire to do research, and develop new technologies, be it in biotech, mechanical, electronic or any field for that matter. But the state of education and policies do not allow us to pursue; which is why most people go abroad to the US and Europe for their higher studies and PhD. Our education system is very competitive, and our exams do not test us on our knowledge, but on our ability to remember facts.

Drive the students towards research in 9th class age itself. Give them the thought-provoking practical knowledge rather than simply sitting in the classroom.
