1. After completing 2 year PhD research period of IITian/NITian/IIM, it must make compulsary to work part time for next 2 years in any other State Govt. Institution region wise. Our Govt. must decide it for every region in India. Afetr that if he/she willing to continue may continue or may left and may go and work somewhere. 2. Govt. should decide it at the time of joining PhD. 3. Govt must give some target. Those who will complete the target decided will become permanent at the same place.

It is imperative that we standardize the education process itself. The vocational colleges should ideally be at the gram panchayat level whereas every district should have a university campus. This could be either in the form of one state university with a campus at every district or a university at every district. The education itself should be based on credit system so that a person can earn credits for courses in multi-discplines.In a globalized world global citizens are required.

I think students passing from IIT'S should be involved in the defence research. They are the one of the best science students in the world.I think if the goverment is giving a scholarship( what we call it a subsidy in their college fees) then the goverment should find a way to harness the returns in the form of a bond like 3 yrs working with a research body.

The Present scenario of Research & Innovations in Colleges of Rural Odisha is now in question. If one rank in % age this factor, then the mark will be 0 % (Zero) in this area. The main reasons are inadequate infrastructure , no minimum salary to the teaching & non teaching staff , not having minimum research based knowledge , lack of guide etc.

Research & innovation can't be done with Empty stomach. 1. Legal Framework should be brought in wherein companies are encouraged to #fund research and innovation in educational institutes with rights to use it for commercial benefits, and a portion of generated money goes to the institute & innovator for 10 years. 2. Govt should encourage and facilitate tie-up of Indian educational institutes with renowned research institutes of friendly countries.

Continuation to my previous comments: Industry in US warmly welcomes and respects the students who have exposure to work in research/collegiate competition; which is contradictory and discouraging sometimes when it comes to Industry in India. I have personal experience where I have seen number of times that companies specifically mention in job description that they do not consider University level research/project work as experience. Mindsets of Hiring Managers in India also need to be changed!

Similar model can be applied in India which is only possible with strong collaboration between Industry and Universities. I believe this would be win win situation for Industry and Students. Students in India are innovative but definitely they lack proper platform and funding. For example I would like to elaborate about General Motor and US Department of Energy's EcoCAR program. See this link http://ecocar3.org/ There might be thousands of such a projects covering many fields.

Respected Madam/ Sir research and innovations is the apt way to meet the today's social need. All institutions should guide their students for involvement in research in all the fields. The universities should facilitate these by funding and providing good quality of teachers. university should be unbiased while providing facilities. All institutes must spend their major times in research. the findings of research also to be published and must be used/ practiced...

I admire efforts of new government on education. I would like to give some suggestion based on my master's level study experience and system of US. Industry in US is extremely generous when it comes to funding for engineering research in Universities; from where major innovations comes which drives this country's economy. Internships, Co-op programs (ex. where student study for 3 months and work for 3 months) which give students early exposure in Industry.
