In pre-Ph.D and Ph.D course work, the U.G and P.G subject knowledge will be tested. After completion of Research test or NET or JRF, students will registered for Ph.D. What is the need to test again the previous knowledge? Due to which scholars are wasting months of time for preparation of these exams. These should be removed. It is better to test the progress or quality of work done every year. Please made the things simple for better out put.

Universities in the country are not following same guidelines for PhD degree. Some universities following Pre-Ph.d, research methodology course work, ph.D course work, anti-plagiarism check strictly. Due to that quality may be increases. However, some universities not following these UGC guidelines, hence, scholars in those universities are getting degrees faster than other universities which are following UGC rules. UGC should adopt these guidelines strictly to all universities.

Without research, this country is not going to proceed forward. We need new developments in the field of science, which is not happening in our country, on the scale it should. The foremost thing that needs to be done is make more institutions for science, the basic sciences like Indian Institute of Science, which should be on par with the world institutions like the MIT. Next, proper equipment and opportunities for employment should be available in our country itself, to avoid brain-drain.
