I am working in a R&D center of a private automobile firm and worked in many other R&D centers in my 8 years career but I haven't came across any Indian firm where research is going all we are doing is bench marking competitors and copying their design i think culture of research is lagging in India we should start to innovate rather then merely copying existing design. Research and Innovation culture must be promoted from grass root levels.

A little help like online and remote facilities of PHD/Research / innovation for working professionals is greatful. I am located in Kolkata, I am mechanical engineer working professional interested in product & mechanical system design. However I didnt get any option to do part time M tech in mechanical in any of the institute in kolkata. I hope online course from a govt. institute will be very helpful for us where this kind of facilities are not available.

govt should give exemption to Ph.d Holder for appointment to Assistant Prof. Harsh decision by Supreme Court. or the people who are appointed on the basis of Ph.d would have to clear NET in the given time. why this discrimination with us... Thanks and regards

Education system in india is lacking day by day as we know that in japan and in other countries the research has been increased day by day. Thus it is a humble request from me to create such a environment so that more research can also done in private institutions. As there are more private colleges are running now a days..

Why Social Science research particularly in the field of Population Studies is poor in the Northern and Eastern States of India? There is less number of the Department of Population Studies/Demography in such States why?

Continued.. Make a list of Top 10000 journals and allow publishing papers to only in those journals. Remove the discretionary part of PI from the selection of Faculty/Research Scholars/PhD admission. And make it 100% dependent on qualification and research history etc.
