I THINK GOVT IS NOT GIVING PLATFORM TO PROMOTE IT. UNLESS YOU CLOSE RESERVATION SYSTEM IN TOP EXAMINATIONS LIKE IITS AND UPSC YOU CAN'T THINK TO PROMOTE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION BECAUSE YOU ARE SELECTING MANY STUDENTS THAT HAVE LESSER KNOWLEDGE . A SC ST HAVE TO SCORE 45 IN IITS AND GENERAL 115 AND OBC 75 . IT IS CLEAR THAT A GENERAL STUDENT WHO HAVE 110 MARKS WILL HAVE MORE KNOWLEDGE THAN A SC OR ST STUDENT WHO SCORED 46. BUT A SC ST IS SELECTED WHICH IS VERY WRONG. PLEASE THINK , THIS SYSTEM IS

Our students study more math, more science, more concepts than students of USA or Europe, but why do they fail to deliver? Why do they fail to innovate new products when they become engineer? Why do they fail to innovate new theories when they become scientist? Why do they fail to solve the country’s problem when they become IAS? Why do they fail even just giving a new idea to solve the problems? Why do our students with more knowledge and better memory skills fail to compete with them later?

It will force students to consider higher education in our own country...before thinking of going abroad. I am not aware of other fields but if we see Engineering courses, stipend for a M.Tech students is just Rs. 8000 & for one pursuing PhD is Rs. 16000. I strongly feel that this is just mere amount, if we are seriously looking forward to have a quality of research and innovation. What if this amount is say 20-25K for M.Tech and 40-50K for PhD.

Hi guys, To promote more research and innovation here in India, we need to consider 'Brain Drain' - the brighter students going out of the country. There are many reasons that one chooses to pursue his/her MS or PhD abroad. But one of the primary aspects to pursue higher education abroad is a student has to spend first a huge amount of money on tuition fees and living expenditures are also too high. I feel MHRD shall promote higher education and research by providing more stipend to students!

I have read the book 'How to swim' many times. I can reproduce the things in the exam if you take. But still I cannot swim. I am afraid of the people who think every problem can be solved by writing in book and memorizing by students.
