Craft & Design education has to be promoted from school. Children would learn our culture & skill which would improve their quality of life while a skill would help earn their living. Its worth looking into 'Nai Tallen' model of school education by Gandhi. Most importantly this would help us counter China which introduces a new product in Indian market everyday. Craft & Design education can be taken forward in Universities by offering bachelor and masters of Design encouraging entrepreneurs.

Education should based on interest .the education system designed should emphasis more on research work from the very beginning i.e 1st class onward. The biggest barrier in research field is that once the land of scholars and gurus are lacking in no. of guru's. We need a good evaluating system which evaluate and the students work and work indirection to remove the short comings in student and in his work so he can continue his work. Motivate people to do research work and appreciate their work.

It requires changing the behavior patterns of all types of road users viz. two wheeler riders, cars and pedestrians and encouraging them to drive safely. Research in this field can be done by social science experts, behavioral psychologists and persons associated with the legal field. If road users can be encouraged to drive safely, road accidents can be reduced to a considerable extent. Similarly, getting people to treat the law enforcement authorities as legitimate and inspire their confidence

This thinking is based on a wholly erroneous premise. Taking an example of reducing road accidents. To reduce road accidents, technological research may provide for inventing better vehicles with higher levels of safety equipment like Airbags, ABS etc. This can be only achieved by research in the field of science and technology. But the root cause analysis of accidents need a more deeper study.

Research in a broader sense may be defined as suggesting novel and innovative ideas for the continuous development and betterment of society and solving societal problems. In India, the focus on research has been unevenly balanced and there is a general perception that research and development are finely interlinked with innovation in the field of science and technology as only with technological inventions a society can progress and develop.

A student with good memory power can score good marks in all exam, but cannot create new products, cannot create innovative ideas, cannot solve the country problem when become IAS. He will just do his routine job and earn money--- that's is employment. and memorizing concepts was what we call education in india --or " Samajh kar padana"

You cannot promote research and innovation through memorizing a lot of concepts in school and emphasising that what is written in book is right and you are wrong.
