Sanskrit is the mother of all our Indian languages. We need to promote our cultural inheritance in Sanskrit. Our valuable sources of knowledge are in Sanskrit. So to me Sanskrit should be a compulsory language for us to learn. Next to understand the learning concepts well MOTHER TONGUE IS BETTER. Vedic mathematics should be a part of our curriculum. A common curriculum for the NATION WIDE excluding the languages is the Need of the hour. Also Games should be made a compulsory part of education.

Medium of instruction should be mother tongue. However there should be an importance of other languages in the teaching learning process. A child should be enriched with more than two languages.

The mother tongue should get more importance, and must be boosted, as we know we cannot express our views more clearly in any language aprt from mother tongue.

Most of the technical and medical science books are in English, They must be translated in to as many as Indian Languages, then the core subject would be understood by students.

My suggestion : 1. Make Hindi as first language from class nursery to class 12th with min.33 % marks as pass cut off. 2. Make regional language as second language from nursery to class 5th with min 33 % marks as pass cut off. 3. Make English as third language from class 6th to 12th with min 33 % marks as pass cut off from but in 11th & 12th its marks should not be included in overall subject marks.
