Language is the medium through which learning takes place. Students in the rural areas most of the times feel alienated from the content in the textbooks. When teaching learning happens in local language, it is likely to improve enrollment and retention, improved learning outcomes, enhanced participation of children and enhanced cognitive development among both pre-school and elementary school children.

Hindi is our National language. Why we should not promote it. Most of the schools are mostly stressed on English language. this the language which has no head,no tail. Pronunciation of the words are different. you don't differentiate when you speak why t+o=to & g+o=go. h+e=he & m+e=me............. many more words which are very difficult to differentiate our kids.

we should give education to a child in his mother tongue because he starts to speak by it and if the education is in his mother tongue, it will create a good effect on him. He will learn it easily and comfortably. But in higher education he should be given the knowledge of other languages so that he may compete with other students of his level and may not feel alone in any stage of knowledge. knowledge of other languages is important for real progress of a student.

The primary education to the children should be provided in thier mother-tongue. At the same time, the Sanskrit language should be taught to the children for basic knowledge. The moral education should also be given to the children right from the beginning to make them a responsible citizen.
