A multi-lingual society recognises the importance of education in languages. While there are some interventions for appointment of language teachers and promotion of classical languages, there is no comprehensive scheme or language policy and we need to have inputs on this dimension.

Good education is foundation of all culture, behaviour, values, virtues & progress. Its lack is the cause of mental, moral & social decline. सुशिक्षा संस्कृति, सभ्यता, शालीनता, समृधी और सदगुणों का मूल है । सुशिक्षा का आभाव ही मनुष्य के मानसिक, नैतिक और समाजिक पतन का कारण है । The purpose of education is to build responsible citizens who contribute to peace,wellness & prosperity of people in society. भारत की हर पाठशाला में योगाभ्यास आध्यात्मिक और संस्कृति शिक्षण अनिवार्य रूप से होना चाहिये।

Another problem now is that states are forcing the regional language on the students of other states. For example, in tamilnadu everybody is expected to learn Tamil all of a sudden and hence, north Indians have been forced to send their children back. Hindi is out of the syllabus. Politicizing the issues here. In fact Tamil is a beautiful language, but nothing could be learnt all of a sudden. Hence, systematic approach is required. Hindi is must to survive all over India. Also our national lang.

Students should be taught about the Indian culture, tradition,Vedas, the science and research. If we keep talking about the west, obviously student will feel like praising the west. Strictly No caste, creed or gender bias in school. Teachers must be logical and upgraded. Make the provision of engineers to work as teachers as they have deep knowledge of the subjects. Make the classroom more active by games, chartworks, etc., children should be aware of private parts to prevent exploitation as seen.!

Bring a law to make following compulsory 1) Learning mother-tongue language 2) Learning state-language (where school is located) 3) Learning Hindi 4) Learning English If 1) and 2) are same, student must pick one more language. To pass Grade 12, student must pass all languages with Grade 12 level proficiency. If making compulsory is too hard, give them extra mark (to get admission to higher education) based on each extra language they know.

We are teaching history of India's slavery. Why? Once all east Asian countries were under cultural and political dominance of India. Why we are not learning about it? Teach something that can make a kid proud of India. Now non-British historians have challenged many theories such as Aryan-invasion. We must teach students the balanced view of our history and not just the British point of view. The biased view about our caste system should be replaced by a logical reason of why it was developed.

Our classrooms are extremely boring. There is nothing a kid can enjoy. The education shouldn't look burdened, it should look appealing. Decorate the classrooms as per grade and subject. A classroom with Map of India posted on the wall is a fun room to study geography of India. And really we don't need to spend lot of money to do so. We can be creative to achieve so. Ask students for higher grades, as a project, to develop material for junior grades.
