Rating based system will expose weaknesses in government as well as private schools thereby enabling administrators as well as policy makers to fix the problems in transparent manner. These days student enrollment is reducing in government schools and parents are forced to send their kids to private schools and pay high fees. This can change if government schools show better rating with respect to private schools and encouraging students to enroll in government schools and save on education.

For ensuring quality of schools(both private as well as government), we should identify parameters for rating schools based on their performance on those parameters. Parameters could be infrastructure, teachers availability for all subjects, attendance of students and teachers, sports and extra curricular activities, results of students, use of technology in school management etc. This rating should be published annually so that parents know what kinds of education their kids are getting.

Respected Sir, All Government schools should have better infrastructure. Building, grounds, smart boards, computers etc. A huge investment is required in primary as well secondary education schools. To attract parents, all education should be free of cost. Parents need to bear the cost of stationary only. No Uniform is essential. If required all schools should function in two or three shifts.
