India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

ईश्वर ने हमें प्रकृति के सामंजस्य स्थापित कर जीने की शक्ति और साधन उपलब्ध कराए हैं । इस संदर्भ में मनुष्य को जल और थल दोनों में रह सकने की क्षमता प्रदान की है। मेरा तो यह भी मानना है कि हमारे इसी विशेष गुण के चलते मनुष्य अपने समकक्ष कई जंतुओं से आगे निकल गए। बंदर, लंगूर, चिपांजी को ही लें। थल षर वे मनुष्यों से बेहतर क्रियाकलाप कर सकते हैं पर पानी में नहीं। पर बुरा आज का एकांगी जीवनशैली का कि पानी में तैरना ही अधिकांश को नहीं आता। मेरी मानें तो हर स्कूल कालेज में तरणताल हो और तैरना अनिवार्य विषय।

Science is facts that are true but scientific is the path in which a person travels to reach truth. Same as God and Religion as Science is to God and scientific is to Religion.

Dear Modiji and Team, Only three things motivate youngsters and people in general. Name, Fame, money. Just like we have IPL for Cricket. We need to gave a televised competition for engineering students actoss the country in the fields of AI, ROBOTICS, COMPUTERS, DRONES. with cash prizes to the tune of 5 crores for first prize 3 crores for second prize and 1 crore for third prize. Aspiring Students will not pick up cricket bats but math and science books. Thanks

Respected Modiji, Science improved but Central Department has no statistcs on registered/unregistered buildings since Demonitisation 08.11.2016 the evaders withdrawed their bank cash deposits and invested their other entire unaccounted money in building assets built after 08.11.2016.I request to register and fix value of these buildings since 08.11.2016 & declare the buildings without source of income and without occupancy or kept idle without income even as bank interest declare as black money.
