India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

1. First and foremost start a creative channel which educates society, children about science and development happening around the world. Right now people watching trash on tv all the time which is very polarising. Spend on children at early age before it’s late. 2 increase funding for renewable energy, quantum computing, AI, infrastructure related research. We are unable to make aluminium rail bogies is a shame. India is spending big on infra. This is the time to develop local know how.

ये विज्ञान का युग है ! इसमें प्रत्येक कार्य को करने में विज्ञान कि मदद लेनी चाहिए अर्थात् विज्ञान उसके शामिल हो !

Science is everything . Science is a study of natural world through a systematic process called scientific method. Science includes everything that we do in our daily life. Science is very important in all the fields. Without science the life would be unimaginable. Thankyou

भारतीय विज्ञान, निसंदेह भारतीय दृष्टिकोण, मुख्यत "प्रकृति और संस्कृति" के साथ कदम से कदम मिलाकर चलने को प्रतिबद्ध है। हां मैं अपना विचार साझा करना चाहुंगा कि "विज्ञान और वैज्ञानिक मनोवृति" के बीच अंतर बना हुआ है। जहां विज्ञान प्राकृतवाद और संस्कृतिवाद पर आधारित है वहीं वैज्ञानिक मनोवृति भौतिकवादी है। जबकि " विज्ञान और वैज्ञानिक मनोवृति " एक-दुसरे से संबंधित है। प्रकृति और संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देना ही विज्ञान है और वैज्ञानिक मनोवृति प्रकृति और संस्कृति पर आधारित ही होना चाहिए। वैज्ञानिकों का आभार !

Visit to National,Regional or Organisational Science Museums create Scientific Curiosity among Youth. The more Exposure to Practical Application of Science, coupled with Simple illustration of Scientific Principles will help the Youth in better Understanding of Science. There is Magical Attractiveness in Scientific Models, We needs to take Science to the Youth in its Youthful Avatar. The more Fun Element in Teaching & Learning Process, more Attractive Career in Science will be for Youth.

Scientific Temperament helps Students of all Streams. Science is a very Broad term covering all types of Knowledge. When we encourage Youth to develop Scientific Temperament, they started to look beyond narrow confines of topics/subjects, they develop Scientific, Systematic, Logical way of gaining Knowledge. They started appreciating Interdisciplinary Applications of various concepts. Science is all around us, the more we Appreciate & Understand Science, More we will Enjoy Fruits of Science.

Science is derived from "Scientia" meaning Knowledge, when we say 'Scientific' Approach it generally implies that logical,systematic,practical approach. 2 terms are interrelated yet different. Scientific Temperament in Youth with Strong base & affinity for Knowledge leads to better understanding of any subject, practical sound knowledge base which Youth can rely upon anytime. Scientific Temperament creates Novelty, encourages Creativity while relying on Theories,building on Systems & procedures.

'Science' is that which can bring the knowledge to think rationally and logically and change ones perception to 'Scientific'. Science is the only tool which will eradicate superstitions and educate the society in true sense which eventually will work scientifically for the progress of the nation
