India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

Ways to grow scientific temper among Indians-- 1. Change in science curriculum at all level. paradigm shift from fact based curricula to activity and experimentation based curricula focusing on flexibility of learning and continuous and comprehensive assessment. 2. Respected Modiji, I bring your kind attention that science should be highly benefited to the farmers the real Green army to feed our nation with all vegetarian nonvegetarian eatables for low product price.Real farming land development steps are under clutches of misery to feel farmers unfortunate in basic needs Like mordernising Indian Army I request to declare Indian Farmers as Green Army & begin Agricultural Research & Development Organisation to modernise Farming from manuring to irrigation

भारत मे जापानी शिक्षा पद्धति लानी होगी ... और शिक्षा क्षेत्र मे जातिगत आरक्षण खत्म करनी होगी । एक राष्ट्र एक शिक्षा पद्धति होनी चाहिए |

लोगो मे विज्ञान को लेकर गाव गांव जाकर रुचि बढ़ाना होगा और विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी को प्रोत्साहित करना होगा।

To grow scientific temper you need committed faculty towards science. But lets see how many people really feel for teaching as a profession. Due to rapid outsourcing, better paying jobs teaching is left behind. Though a lot of workforce does not feel satisfied in high paying jobs and want to contribute after becoming financially secure. It might be good to bring a policy allowing people over 45yrs to join science initiative. But the govt would need skill these people on education.

Trained pilots may be deputed to advanced and developing countries to make contractual agreements to serve. This will increase co operation among aligned countries and opportunities for employment to grow. Also increase reputation for INDIA in global assignments.

Sir Traditional behavior is also science & Modernization is advance science so it is difficult for total changes & maybe create problem in front of us. before changing policies we have to examine several times
