India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

मेरे विचार में..... हमें सबसे पहले अपनी सोच को अंधविशवासों से निकाल कर तर्क कि ओर ले जाना चाहिए। ऐसा नहीं है कि पुराने लोग या कम शिक्षित लोग ही अंधविश्वास करते है। कभी कभी हम जैसे सुशिक्षित लोग भी इन सब पर विश्वास करने लग जाते है। कभी डर कभी अपनों की चिंता कभी आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत से कारण हो सकते है। स्पेशली बात जब परिवार कि हो तो हम किसी भी चीज पर भरोसा करने लग जाते है। I think हमें हर चीज में लॉजिक ढूढने की आदत बनानी चाहिए।

U= universe {science, scientific}, Science=sci(to know) + conscience Scientific=sci + entification (action of giving objective existence to something) Similarity is common prefix {sci}, means without knowledge science and scientific methods can't intersect. Difference is science-scientific=corpse Scientific-science=living corpse Thus we need to gain knowledge(sci) on our existence (entification) with conscience.

There is no spare earth or land for cultivation for growing demands on the earth and in our country. We have only 30% of land suitable for cultivation on the globe. Hence we have to preserve the resource of land for cultivation with atmost care. Science and politics never align in many areas ,who will win only decide their policies.The only place where we can live is the earth.

Scientific Temper is one of the attributes that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru wanted all of us Indians to cultivate. Pt.Nehru termed scientific temper in discover of India. Presently,it is one of the fundamental duty under article 51(A) of Indian Constitution.as a duty it is call for any society to progress. Scientific temper helps us wade through life in a systematic and coherent way.

Respected sir ji, we need for proofing our ancient Indian vedic science as Vastu, astrology etc.by the way of practical basis instead of theoretical or bookish knowledge,so please increase the fund for research to institutes and researchers . otherwise very soon we will be best follower of the world instead of global teacher विश्वगुरु yours Acharya Rajjan Prasad Patel ph.d. scholar in vastu and astrology

हम भारतीयों मे विज्ञान व वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण को विकसित करने के लिए आवश्यक है कि हम विज्ञान कि पढ़ाई को अपनाए विज्ञान को बढ़ावा दे तथा विज्ञान कि रिसर्च को अपनाए ताकि अनुसंधान किया जा सके

Today, it is so different that few are ready to accept knowledge accumulated by the ancients as 'science'.Only that knowledge which is patterned after the methods of natural sciences is regarded as scientific.
