Share innovative ideas on sustainable EEE Products

Electrical and Electronic Equipment ( EEE ) and materials are one of the biggest challenges to sustainability. EEE are responsible for highly complex waste generation, energy-intensive manufacturing, usage and waste processing.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their ideas on how EEE products and materials can be made more sustainable.

We value your suggestions which would be instrumental in encouraging efforts towards sustainable practices in Electrical and Electronic products and spreading the awareness about same.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

Electronic product is a big challenge for our country.it help us to protect environment for future 1 Green product is a way to control over electronic goods 2 Green technology help us to control over electronic waste . 3 Limited use of electronic product in daily life of human being. 4 Recycle of electronic goods is a way to solve electronic waste .

Development of new materials do help in reducing the size of gadgets and machines. These smaller size gadgets and machines are energy efficient as well. So, we achieve three benefits by reducing size of equipment. 1 Reduce the use of resources. 2 Reduce the use of energy. 3 Reduce the waste generation at the end of life of the equipment.

Some suggestions 1. Considering EEE products, for electricity we use pakelite plastics which we are unable to avoid. Slowly we have to shift to electronic items which may reduce the uses of pakelite plastics . The pakelite plastic quality is bad or harmful when burn. 2. Possible ways usage of natural sources like sunlight, air , water etc instead of light bulbs, fans etc. This will save cost and energy. 3. Sustainable energy resources like solar energy, wind energy etc. Can use in most places. 4. Energy efficient cars, solar , battery cars designing. 5. If possible manual cycling will create energy and driving washing machine, car etc. Need to think this way. Came across in social media like, one girl designing by pedaling washing machine is running. This is good exercise too. Need to think and take it further. Similarly pedalling car can think.

Respected sir/maam Good morning But the lot of use of electronic mobile having blasting/burning problem. It create harmful radiation which create skin problem,eyesight weak problem,heart attack problem.working distraction problems
