Share innovative ideas on sustainable EEE Products

Electrical and Electronic Equipment ( EEE ) and materials are one of the biggest challenges to sustainability. EEE are responsible for highly complex waste generation, energy-intensive manufacturing, usage and waste processing.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their ideas on how EEE products and materials can be made more sustainable.

We value your suggestions which would be instrumental in encouraging efforts towards sustainable practices in Electrical and Electronic products and spreading the awareness about same.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

Brake failure  Indicator: The circuit shown here gives an early warning if the brake of the vehicle fails. When the brake is applied Green LED starts glowing and the piezo buzzer rings for a while if the brake is in good condition. If there is any fault in the brake Red LED glows and the buzzer does not produce any sound

Modeling of the three-phase induction motor using SIMULINK:  This paper describes the simulation model of a three-phase induction motor using Matlab SIMULINK. The inputs given to this are the power source and load torque, outputs obtained are speed and electromagnetic torque

Automatic Changeover Switch: Generally, in case of failure of power supply alternative methods were used such as generators, inverters, etc. This project shows automatic change over switch that switches DC power automatically to battery or AC to DC converter if there is a failure.

We should ensure that companies making gadgets are responsible for collection and disposal of those items after they get unserviceable.Buy back offers may play a very important role in recycling process.

विद्युत उपकरण को खराब होने के बाद उनमें से उपयोगी पार्ट निकाल लेना चाहिए बहुत सारे तो ऐसे होते है जिनसे शैक्षणिक सामग्री का भी निर्माण कर सकते है। साथ ही जो बिकाऊ हो उन्हें इक्ट्ठा करके बेच देना चाहिए ताकि पुनः रिसाइकिलिंग हो सके। कोई भी वेस्ट मटेरियल हो उसके लिए यदी जनता जागरूक हो तो सब कुछ प्रकृति को सुरक्षित रख सकते हैं।

We can aware students about the electronic waste, And tell them to buy electronic equipments wisely and according to their need. The mindset to buy more and more and the latest gadget should be stopped.

Sustainable electronics are electronic products made with no toxic chemicals, recyclable parts, and reduced carbon emissions during production. "Sustainability is still very new, emerging business concept.
