The Digital India campaign was launched by the Government on July 1, 2015, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

Revolutionary initiatives like AADHAR, UMANG, BHIM, CoWIN, MyGov, DigiLocker, e-Hospital, e-Education, National Scholarship Portal (NSP), PM-WANI, and many more have provided the impetus to the vision for connecting and empowering 125 crore citizens.

As we celebrate the 6 Years of Digital Transformation of India, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas and stories of digital empowerment.

E-governance is a huge plus point for all the citizens, it is quicker, faster and safer when compared to traditional governance, with the help of e-governance, you can now get anything from birth certificate to death certificate immediately, this is convenient for people to access the information they need on the go.
