The Digital India campaign was launched by the Government on July 1, 2015, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

Revolutionary initiatives like AADHAR, UMANG, BHIM, CoWIN, MyGov, DigiLocker, e-Hospital, e-Education, National Scholarship Portal (NSP), PM-WANI, and many more have provided the impetus to the vision for connecting and empowering 125 crore citizens.

As we celebrate the 6 Years of Digital Transformation of India, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas and stories of digital empowerment.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी प्रातः कालीन सादर प्रणाम बैंक में सीनियर मैनेजर था अचानक कभी-कभी दोनों आंखों से दिखना बंद हो जाता था इसलिए 2 वर्ष पहले ही वॉलंटरी रिटायरमेंट ले लिया था आज भी एक आंख से केवल प्रकाश दिखता है रेटिना को सिलिकॉन से चिपकाया हुआ है ऐसा नया डिजिटल इंस्ट्रूमेंट बने जो विड्रॉल स्लिप पर , डीड ,टाइटल के डीड पर अंगूठा लगाने पर बैंक में रिकॉर्ड लेफ्ट या राइट थंब इंप्रेशन विथ फोटो से अपने आप थंब के इंप्रेशन को मैच और वेरीफाई करे ( किसके थंब का निशान है नाम फोटो प्रदर्शित करे NO FRAUD)

Hello pm modi sir mein aapse ek reguste karta hun sir agar mein form nahi bhar paya wirtter ke liye to kya aap mera seletion karoge mein 3 saal se aapko shuzaav de raha hun sir mera ghar waale kesi bhi cheez mein meri mujhe support nahi kar rahe hai kya aap mujhe support karenge sir aapko writter ke liye pdf banake shuzaav mein nahi de paa raha hun mere paas laptop nahi hai mere pass kessi se koi help nahi hai mein kya karu sir jinke pass laptop nahi hai sirf android phone hai wo kaise karenge

We have reduced corruption downstream through DBT, but upstream there is still lot of corruption. Corruption environment being major criteria in global indices of ease of doing business can indirectly block FDI flow into India. As a citizen of a developing country I wonder, what is it that countries like Singapore and Finland are doing that takes them to the top-tier? It appears that for India, we can be extraordinary only through extraordinary systems, processes, methods.

Digital Community Service Portal: a. Community event updates registration, saplings planting, cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, restoration of rural tourists spots. b. Boosts self esteem of temporarily unemployed youth. C. Extreme events, disaster relief events management with widespread participation.

Digital Policing Portal: a. Digitally Signed FIRs b. Virtual counselling of victims from centralized portal for faster service delivery c. Geo-tagged location updates/availability of patrol vehicles, apps for women to browse patrol vehicle locations and make environments safer. d. Miscreants search database.

Digital IoT initiative: Nodal initiative for IoT applications across all government functions. a. Drone surveillance of suspected drug production farms. Random checks and deployments b. Automated Cloud connected Floating drones with riverstream mechanical energy use for river water sample testing pH, BOD across the whole length of rivers. c. Logistics Trucks analysis with wearable devices for truck drivers, speeds analysis, stoppage analysis.

‘Packets' of tax money are ‘attached’ to the taxpayer and these packets are given a unique ID. Similar to pointers assigned to variables in programming, maybe the GST portal would attach unique IDs to the packets at the source of tax collection. By doing this we will be able to track the trajectory of these packets and then therefore be able to enlighten the taxpayer about the destination of his tax money. This idea is borrowed from Zomato’s “Know your farmer” initiative.
