The Digital India campaign was launched by the Government on July 1, 2015, under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

Revolutionary initiatives like AADHAR, UMANG, BHIM, CoWIN, MyGov, DigiLocker, e-Hospital, e-Education, National Scholarship Portal (NSP), PM-WANI, and many more have provided the impetus to the vision for connecting and empowering 125 crore citizens.

As we celebrate the 6 Years of Digital Transformation of India, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas and stories of digital empowerment.

We should do away with Ration card. With our country moving towards digitization, it is high time we get out of Ration Card formulat and use Aadhar Card to distribute ration to all. Ration card is a big pain area for all the citizens of India.

Post Office has very wide network and has served exceptionally over years. Please plan to digitize maximum operational task/activities of post office and have paperless post office. Few examples: 1. Digital issuance of certificates for KVP, NSC, passbook etc. 2. Linking on digi locker 3. Booking of parcel through web portal 4. Transfer of accounts from one PO to other, update of personal details like address, phone, email, nominee and so on
