The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India envisages a judicial system that is more accessible, efficient, and equitable for every individual who engages with the justice delivery system. The right of access to justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution encompasses the right to access live court proceedings.

To imbue greater transparency, inclusivity and foster access to justice, the e-Committee has undertaken the project of live streaming of court proceedings on priority. This will enable access to live court proceedings, including on matters of public interest to citizens, journalists, civil society, academicians, and law students on a real-time basis, which was not otherwise possible owing to geographical, logistical, or infrastructural issues.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India invites inputs, feedback, and suggestions on the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

India was ruled by Britishers and they were forced to leave the country but we still prevail over their policies. Under the guidance of our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji many impossible mission was achieved. We have deep faith in our government they will make the amendments for the withdrawal of this caste system. After all it's the verdict of our Prime Minister "Hame berojgari ko ish desh ke nakshe se Mitana hai" for that people should be given equal rights on all basis firstly.

India is also a country of the greatest motivator lord Krishna whose main motto was to believe in karma. People of India should be known on the basis of their karma not by their caste/suffix, real importance should be given to the prefix like IPs, dr. etc and suffix should be completely abolished. There are several kinds of ministers in India to look upon every department then why there is no caste minister to look upon the evils taking place in the society.

They are forced to take several decisions unwillingly, many ends up committing sucide. Many a times it turns into a bigger disputes in which families or society gets involved and many lives are taken away. Obviously actions are taken against the culprit but what about the real cause behind the scenario why can't things like this be eradicated from the society. India is a country of great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi who always fought for what was right for India's people.

To abolish caste titles should be abolished. Surnames should be taken off to bring a change in the society, changes should be made in the adhar card itself. Suffix/titles should be declared null and void and strict actions should be taken against the one who is found preaching in the name of the castes. This is not a minor issue it should be taken seriously. People are being mentally tortured and harrsed by their leaders on the names of "Jati and Samaz" and no one comes to rescue them.

Except for some exceptional cases involving sensitive information like national security related or some other cases deemed so, live streaming of judicial proceedings should be done. this shall- Educate public about nature of proceedings in the court Bring in more transparency among the public Also work as a learning experience for many who aspire to be in judicial profession Faith in judiciary would be strengthened

Live streaming of important issues particularly confidential issues related with security, secularism etc. should not be made..

Live streaming is a very good idea. It helps when people accuse the judiciary of giving wrong judgments. But we must consider issues for streaming of certain sensitive issues. People who have trouble speaking up against the actions in the public must feel confident when they are opening up in court. So there should be a provision seeking the people's consent in those cases. The committee can decide which kind of cases requires such provisions.

Great move. People like me have no idea how a court actually works. We are even scared to go to courts. The awareness of this move is definitely going to bring more confidence and trust on judiciary. All strata of society are going to get benefitted. Let us see the real court proceedings as we have only seen court proceedings in films. Thank you all for the move.
