The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India envisages a judicial system that is more accessible, efficient, and equitable for every individual who engages with the justice delivery system. The right of access to justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution encompasses the right to access live court proceedings.

To imbue greater transparency, inclusivity and foster access to justice, the e-Committee has undertaken the project of live streaming of court proceedings on priority. This will enable access to live court proceedings, including on matters of public interest to citizens, journalists, civil society, academicians, and law students on a real-time basis, which was not otherwise possible owing to geographical, logistical, or infrastructural issues.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India invites inputs, feedback, and suggestions on the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

The access to the live-streaming must be allowed only to persons who have got issued an authorized password from the Registrar(IT) after filing a formal application containing basic personal details of the applicant, i.e. only to pre-identified persons.

Respected sir as we are seeing the revolutionary change in the Cooking gas supply with no waiting period and quick delivery. In the same way our Judicial system should be changed with the help and guidance of renowned Judges and legal experts. Any case has to be decided in a given time frame. Many people spend several years in Jail and then they are released without any charges. The online will ease the burden on our honourable Judges and Judiciary system and bring more quick judgment. Regards

Live streaming and Recording of Court proceedings are very good Idea. Every citizen will know who is right and who is wrong. Regarding this matter, My request is that Women related cases only be recorded not should do live streaming. Except women related cases all cases should be live streaming and recorded.
