The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India envisages a judicial system that is more accessible, efficient, and equitable for every individual who engages with the justice delivery system. The right of access to justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution encompasses the right to access live court proceedings.

To imbue greater transparency, inclusivity and foster access to justice, the e-Committee has undertaken the project of live streaming of court proceedings on priority. This will enable access to live court proceedings, including on matters of public interest to citizens, journalists, civil society, academicians, and law students on a real-time basis, which was not otherwise possible owing to geographical, logistical, or infrastructural issues.

The e-Committee, Supreme Court of India invites inputs, feedback, and suggestions on the Draft Model Rules for Live-Streaming and Recording of Court Proceedings.

CONTD In that case as the RESRVATION seats are being filled from last many years The Public Intrest proceedings in live recording can creat crisis and mistake done in many last years will be required for review And candidates loosing such position filled by ST may file compensation and the intensity would depend upon the Media and others looking for such chances So it looks that transparency is good but such recordings have be selective to avoid crisis and unrest And in extra democratic India

CONTD In some cases of public intrest litigation the publicity might creat constitutional crisis and in that case the live proceedings might not be advisable For example a state wants to employ recruite or offer placement on reservation for a class but limited to the applicants from the state And in real time such case was for Delhi Govt and RESRVATION was for ST catagory But there is no notified ST in Delhi but such RESRVATION are taken by ST of other states not even living in Delhi

CONTD For that reason the access to the e proceedings as recorded should be restricted to only on the demand of individual for one time access without printing rights And e -affidavit is required for the secrecy and with punishment clause In case of Public intrest cases there should be complete transparency with the entire proceeding recorded and even assesiblevto the Media and common man AND ALSO right for any one to comment upon In such case the lawyer may be assisted by PI litigators

CONTD If the proceedings for example a criminal case under trial is vedio recorded It may not allow us on our privacy rights if it is accessible to common man friend or enemy.The judge the persons present the wittnesss all need privacy and are venerable if the recording is clear It is helpful to find the errors if any but there must be laws for the verification procedure to ensure the voice and images not distorted It is very difficult to record real voice if real image is recordable

Live streaming and recording of the court proceedings already exist but the streaming part is accessible to the persons present in the court room even those who have nothing to do with the hearing going on but are waiting for their tern.And recording is also done but the recording is done by an individual And copy of that is made available . The better part in the electronic system and fast recording without error the e-courts and e recording is welcome but with limitations

Live streaming of court case proceedings is a Welcome gesture & it also helps citizens with more transparency of judicial proceedings and also bring right kind of awareness & equip every individual with knowledge of Law of the Land.. Brings more moral values, integrity & uniformity between states at different hierarchial Court functioning at all levels of judiciary system, Right from District, High court & till Supreme court.Many Nations have already implemented,Why Not in Bharat - Hari Om

I have a common features as followed - 1) Every one access the e courts series 2) There should be an app with a safe cyber security and data should not breach like in the US election fault and learn with this great technology 3) There should be a nominal fees that every one should go 4) The bar council has to decide that the advocate should not take the fees and fix the limit of advocate fees . those should not give the fees the govt or court should relief them . 5)Live proceedings allow

हमारे देश के सत्र एवं जिला न्यायालयों की दशा सोचनीय है, और न्याय व्यवस्था भ्रष्ट एवं लंबी है इसमें सुधार के लिए हमे एक न्यायलय पुलिस की स्थापना की जरूरत है जो सत्य और न्याय तक पहुंचने में, वाद तथा विवादों में सत्यता की जांच करें। न्याय को पारदर्शी और सुगम बनाने के लिए ऑनलाइन प्रदर्शन और न्यायलयों में जज और मजिस्ट्रेटों की नियुक्ति करना आवश्यक है। धन्यवाद

हमारे देश में भी ज्यूरी कोर्ट सिस्टम लागू होना चाहिए और इससे न्याय प्रक्रिया को काफी फायदा मिलेगा जिससे की न्याय जल्दी हो सकेगा और कोर्ट की रिकार्डिंग व्यवस्था की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी हमारे देश में फिर गरीबों को भी तुरंत न्याय मिल सकेगा

2. PIL streaming must be part of this initiative beside Janta Darbar by DM and CM as quasi judicial system should also be part of live streaming.
