It is crystal clear by now that the development of the country needs active and meaningful participation from young people from all corners.

In this context, the United Nations has initiated a 2023 Agenda, a plan of action for the planet, people and prosperity. This agenda recognises 17 sustainable development goals and 169 targets to march ahead and shift the world onto a sustainably resilient path.

Similarly, the platform has created a youth-centric engagement group called Youth20 or Y20.

It provides monetary as well as non-monetary benefits to the youth, encourages support for micro-enterprises, provides a simplified loan process, gives rise to an increase in GDP, and encourages small businesses to grow and involve the Industry 4.0 approach. It is a programme that was established to give loans of up to 10 lakh rupees to small and micro entrepreneurs that are not affiliated with corporations and do not own farms.

Access to technology and the ability to be empowered digitally are, in the context of the current global landscape, the future of industries and jobs. It is necessary to establish appropriate digital infrastructure, high-speed internet, and data centres in order to guarantee that workers will have access to the instruments and resources necessary for them to learn about and work with the technologies of Industry 4.0. This programme is a step forward towards digitising the Indian population and governance services, making technology widely available to all sections of society, and meeting its vision of 'Power to Empower,' all of which are goals that will be accomplished as a result of this initiative.
