The NITI Aayog-led Shoonya campaign, in partnership with MyGov India, is thrilled to announce the electric vehicles Townhall, an open discussion platform for citizens to share valuable ideas and suggestions to promote and enhance the clean electric mobility ecosystem in India. The Townhall focuses on electric vehicles (EVs) and their associated advantages, including cost savings, clean air, health benefits, and emission reduction.

In line with this initiative, NITI Aayog in collaboration with MyGov, invites input from citizens.

The scheme, which was launched in 2021, has an overall incentive outlay of Rs 1.97 lakh crore. “It is pertinent to note that the total allocation under all 14 PLI Schemes is Rs 1.97 lakh crore, the total allocation over the last two years is around Rs 10,845 crore, which is a little over 5% of the total allocation Production Linked Incentive Scheme 2.0 for IT Hardware notified vide Gazette Notification No. CG-DL-E-30052023-246165 dated May 29, 2023 offers a production linked incentive to boost domestic manufacturing and attract large investments in the value chain. Eligibility: Auto-component manufacturing company or its Group company, Automotive OEM company or its Group company, and new Non-Automotive Investor company or its Group company will be eligible to apply for the Component Champion incentive scheme.

One of the key initiatives introduced by the government is the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (FAME) schemes. This scheme provides financial incentives to manufacturers and buyers of EVs. The scheme also aims to encourage the development of charging infrastructure in the country. Electric Vehicles are covered under Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for Automobile and Auto Components, which was approved on 15thSeptember 2021 with a budgetary outlay of Rs. 25,938 crore for a period of five years.

electric vehicle तो ठीक है पर उसके हिसाब से रोड और नालियाँ होनी चाहिए,electric vehicle हल्के और उनके टायर छोटे होते हैं, रोड टूटी हुई नालियाँ चौड़ी होने की वजह से vehicle की उम्र ज्यादा नहीं होगी,लोगों को 2/4 सालों में vehicle बदलने होंगे जो खर्चीला होगा, दूसरा चार्जिंग पॉइन्ट की व्यवस्था को भी ध्यान में रखना होगा,हमारे यहां रोड पर स्पीड, बीना हॉर्न दिए मोड़ना फैशन जैसा है, इन vehicle में sound नहीं होता तो accident का खतरा ज्यादा होगा.

Organise Public Awareness Events Organizing public events is an excellent way to foster EV awareness among customers. Public events like rides and drives and Electric Vehicle showcases are effective ways to give people the EV experience. Such events also help to get media attention. Another way to offer more people to have an understanding of EVs is the addition of EVs in fleets. Such public events will enhance EV awareness among people and help them experience it first-hand. The more you familiarise the public with EV technology, the more comfortable they will adopt it.

Create a robust EV ecosystem The most significant factor in customers’ hesitancy to convert to EVs is the need for a robust EV ecosystem. The lack of charging point availability has hindered the EV sector’s growth. However, the Indian government has offered many incentives to bolster the development of EV infrastructure. Highlighting the incentives of buying an EV, like saving on fuel, insurance, and operating cost, can further push the EV sector.

Electric vehicle is a need and future of our country.there are some point related to it. 1 Electric vehicle reduce pollution level in atmosphere. 2 Reduce in dependency on petrolium oil and other related product. 3 Electric vehicle is cheap and best source of transportation. 4 Electric vehicle help us to maintain our physical health and drive smoothly. 5 Transportation cost is cheap than petroleum vehicle. 6 New job opportunity has been available for youth generation .it has generate large number of employment.
