EVs release no tailpipe air pollutants, and reduce respiratory illnesses such as asthma. However, EVs are charged with electricity that may be generated by means that have health and environmental impacts. The carbon emissions from producing and operating an EV are in the majority of cases less than those of producing and operating a conventional vehicle. EVs in urban areas almost always pollute less than internal combustion vehicles.

We are writing to express our concern about the air pollution problem in our city and to request that you take some actions to address it. Air pollution is not only harmful to our health, but also to our environment and economy. We believe that one of the possible solutions is to promote the use of public transport that run by bio gas, which is a renewable and clean energy source. Bio gas can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save costs, and create jobs. We urge you to support the development and implementation of bio gas projects for public transport and to encourage the public to use them. We hope that you will consider our request and take some steps to improve the air quality in our city. Thank you for your attention and cooperation. please do something about the air pollution strictly and effectively and a strict regulation about the transportation pollution system.

Therefore, without proper road management, and traffic management - many roads can be made one-way and effectively policed, to ensure proper flow & speed of movement and reduce pollution. Even batteries have a quicker drain standing in traffic (with electronic/aircon systems in ON position) and minimal regeneration capability at those crawling movements. In summary, must have disciplined road management & traffic management to ensure reduced pollution.

Whether we are dealing with traditional fuel driven (ICE) vehicles or about transitioning to Electric Vehicles and future hydrogen powered, to truly combat pollution, we urgently require discipline of & on the roads. The municipal corporation and the police must work in close coordination to understand the traffic movement before embarking on any roadworks, and which should be announced well in advance (say 2 weeks) with proper diversions with maps published, so daily users can make necessary adjustments on the travels, and not make a challenge of routines. Secondly, footpaths (sidewalks) are meant for people to walk, and not personal property of municipal corporations personal benefit to permit setup of roadside vendors that deteriorate the space and property values, beside severe compromising pubic hygiene and leaving pedestrians to walk on the already small sized roads of cities (discussions primarily for Mumbai city incl newly developing suburban areas already congested).

Promote EV awareness through educational workshops, test drive events, and partnerships with dealerships. Utilize social media, influencers, and public seminars to reach diverse audiences. Offer incentives like discounts and collaborate with businesses for green fleets. Engage schools, utilize online platforms, and leverage government-led campaigns to maximize impact.
