The NITI Aayog-led Shoonya campaign, in partnership with MyGov India, is thrilled to announce the electric vehicles Townhall, an open discussion platform for citizens to share valuable ideas and suggestions to promote and enhance the clean electric mobility ecosystem in India. The Townhall focuses on electric vehicles (EVs) and their associated advantages, including cost savings, clean air, health benefits, and emission reduction.

In line with this initiative, NITI Aayog in collaboration with MyGov, invites input from citizens.

The Stone Age did not end because we ran out of stones. It ended because people invented alterative tools made of bronze, and iron. • The oil age would end with millions of barrels of oil still underground. The present scheme of Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya scheme is only applicable for citizens of an annual income of 1.5 lakhs. Strongly recommend that the scheme should be applicable across the board to all citizens. It would be prudent to reduce the GST and other tax levied on Solar panels to ZERO as that would be an incentive to entrepreneurs to invest in the manufacturing of solar panels. Also strongly recommend reduce the customs duty on import of EV busses to zero and the road tax on EV busses should also be reduced to zero to enable the entrepreneurs to ply more EV busses on the roads, this would cut down the transportation cost of the citizens of the nation and cut down pollution

EV vehicles reduced not only air pollution but also noise/sound pollution to reasonable extent.EV vehicles are light and easy rechargeable at homes.EV vehicles are having zero maintenance and no much problem comparatively with fuel vehicles .EV vehicles are not at all expensive and exorbitant comparatively with petrol or diesel vehicles. EV vehicles are getting best suited to cities for especially daily office going person.EV vehicles with GPS incorporated possess tracking system in it so it makes females to be highly secure driving in night and in remote places.EV vehicles are getting increased day by day so therefore I suggest to go for same

Ev is surely the near future of every country. For a country like India we should adapt the policy from other developing countries like China, Japan and singapore and apply for us too with required modifications. Like giving subsidy in more options and making special lane for Electric vehicles.

3. EV driving license giving and other regulations should be brought properly. Recently in social media saw article that in expressways due to high speed , tier heat should reduce like that saw the article. Can use nitrogen gas etc to avoid accidents in expressways. Similarly from EV vehicle driving experience we have to get the inputs, speed limits , controlling etc and accordingly can see Road rules, license getting rules etc. we can take safe steps before switching to EV. Need to validate and take it.
